I have over 14 years of commercial experience designing and building interactive museum displays, models and dioramas, and I rely on the sharp eye of three highly skilled part-time associates to help bring history to life. We use the latest in design software, 3D printing technology, construction materials and equipment, but we haven’t forgotten the hands-on touch and care each exhibit piece deserves. As a lifelong model building enthusiast, woodworker and history buff, exhibit construction is truly a labour of love. I can’t describe the feeling of pride I have when seeing members of the public enjoying and learning from a display our group designed and built. There is a difference between large companies that mass produce exhibit components, and a small operation, like Marathon of History, where each person involved in the design, building and installation process has a genuine passion for sharing the gift that is history.
